Passing of Chief Daniel McDougall (Ret.)

We are sad to inform members of the passing of Chief Daniel K. McDougall (Ret.).  Chief McDougall served as the Police Chief of the Cobourg Police Service from 1982 and retired in 1996.  He previously commenced his career in policing with the City of London Police Force achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant - Commander of Traffic.

Friends will be received at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 20 King Street E., Cobourg on Thursday, September 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13th at 3 pm at the funeral home.  Cremation to follow. Those wishing may make donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.

The family has asked police officers attending the funeral to wear their number one dress uniform.
