COYO Conference and OWLE-AWIP Seminar: Must Attend Events!

The OACP is proud to support the work of the Committee of Youth Officers for the Province of Ontario (COYO), formed in 1979 at the Ontario Police College as an association of police officers dedicated to the collection and dissemination of child/youth crime and protection information. This year’s COYO Conference February 20 to 22, 2019 is shaping up to be a great event and the OACP urges its members to support this important gathering.  Highlights of the conference include:

OWLE-AWIP (Ontario) Workshop

The OACP is equally proud of the outstanding work of female police leaders in making Ontario law enforcement organizations in equitable and effective in valuing and empowering all members of our police services. Ontario Women in Law Enforcement and Advancing Women in Policing Working – Ontario will be hosting a Workshop February 20 and 21, 2019 in Ottawa. The goal of the Workshop is to bring together women in policing from all across the province and explore current challenges and solutions facing women in law enforcement today.
