One of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police’s (OACP) major projects this year is the design, development and implementation of a new website. As per the direction of the Board of Directors, the OACP staff have begun to work on identifying a company that will help us develop a new website that will serve our members and the general public more effectively. The website will be the gateway for information exchange on the work of Ontario’s police leaders and information on policing issues. This project is identified as a priority for the association in our current Strategic Plan.
“OACP members have told us that the information they get from the OACP is vital to staying current on public safety issues in Ontario, Canada, and globally. To that end, members want an OACP website that is easy to use and informative. We aim to provide one that will help our members in their important work of serving the people of Ontario.” said Jeff McGuire, OACP Executive Director.
OACP members can expect to receive a member survey soon that will allow them to have input into the development of the new website.
